- Pumpkin seeds 1/4 cup Pepitas raw or roasted
- Sunflower seeds 1/4 cup Raw or roasted
- Chia seeds 2 tbsp Soak lightly if desired
- Olive oil 1 tsp Light coating for roasting
- Red chili powder 1/2 tsp Adjust to taste
- Sea salt 1/2 tsp Pinch for seasoning
- Nutritional yeast 2 tsp Added after cooling for flavor & nutrients
Step 1 – Combine the Seeds
In a large bowl, mix chia, flax, sunflower, and pumpkin seeds. Add olive oil, red chili powder, and sea salt. Stir well until all the seeds are evenly coated.
Step 2 – Roast or Toast
Oven method: Spread the seeds on a baking tray and roast for 8–10 minutes at moderate heat until fragrant.
Stovetop method: Toast the seeds in a non-stick pan over medium heat, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
Microwave method: Heat on medium for 4 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Step 3 – Cool & Boost Flavor
