Ingredients
  

  • Flaxseeds 1/4 cup Can be lightly roasted or ground
  • Pumpkin seeds 1/4 cup Pepitas raw or roasted
  • Sunflower seeds 1/4 cup Raw or roasted
  • Chia seeds 2 tbsp Soak lightly if desired
  • Olive oil 1 tsp Light coating for roasting
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tsp Adjust to taste
  • Sea salt 1/2 tsp Pinch for seasoning
  • Nutritional yeast 2 tsp Added after cooling for flavor & nutrients

Instructions
 

Step 1 – Combine the Seeds

  • In a large bowl, mix chia, flax, sunflower, and pumpkin seeds. Add olive oil, red chili powder, and sea salt. Stir well until all the seeds are evenly coated.

Step 2 – Roast or Toast

  • Oven method: Spread the seeds on a baking tray and roast for 8–10 minutes at moderate heat until fragrant.
  • Stovetop method: Toast the seeds in a non-stick pan over medium heat, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
  • Microwave method: Heat on medium for 4 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Step 3 – Cool & Boost Flavor

  • Let the seeds cool completely, then add nutritional yeast for a savory, cheesy flavor and an extra boost of B-vitamins.

Step 4 – Store Smartly

  • Transfer the cooled mix to an airtight glass jar. Keep it in a cool, dry place, and consume within 14 days for the best freshness and crunch.
