Ingredients

  • For the Dressing:
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Anchovy Paste
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • For the Salad:
  • 1 head Romaine Lettuce
  • Extra Parmesan Cheese for garnish
  • Croutons to taste

Instructions

  • Clean the romaine lettuce thoroughly and ensure every leaf is completely dry before chopping into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, anchovy paste, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the mayonnaise and grated Parmesan cheese to the mixture and whisk until the texture is smooth and uniform.
  • Place the dry romaine lettuce in a large bowl and toss with the dressing until the leaves are lightly and evenly coated.
  • Scatter the croutons over the top and garnish with additional grated Parmesan cheese and freshly cracked black pepper before serving.

Notes

• Ensure the lettuce is bone-dry to prevent the dressing from becoming watery.
• Use a fresh block of Parmesan for the best texture and flavor in the dressing.
• Serve immediately after tossing to maintain the maximum crunch of the greens and croutons.
