  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted

  • For the Coating:
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven and prepare a loaf pan with grease or parchment paper.
  • Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  • Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the pan and bake until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the bread rest in the pan briefly before moving to a cooling rack.
  • Brush the warm loaf entirely with melted butter.
  • Roll or sprinkle the loaf with the cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg mixture until fully coated.
  • Allow the bread to cool completely before slicing for the best texture.
