Ingredients

  • Chicken tenders 1 pound Boneless skinless, fresh
  • Mayonnaise 1/2 cup Substitute Greek yogurt for a lighter option
  • Grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup Adds crispiness
  • Ranch seasoning mix 1 packet Or homemade blend
  • Garlic powder 1/2 tsp Optional
  • Onion powder 1/2 tsp Optional
  • Ritz crackers crushed 1 cup Can use panko, cornflakes, or breadcrumbs

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat and Prep Your Pan
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a bakingsheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Proper preparation ensures thechicken doesn’t stick and helps the coating crisp evenly.
  • Step 2: Mix the Coating
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, Parmesan, Ranchseasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until smooth. This mixtureacts as both a flavorful binder and a moisture-locking layer to keep thechicken tender.
  • Step 3: Coat the Chicken
Dip each chicken tender into the coating mixture, fullycovering it. Then press it into the crushed Ritz crackers, making sureboth sides are coated evenly. For extra crunch, press the crackers firmly ontothe chicken.
  • Step 4: Arrange on Baking Sheet
Place the coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet in asingle layer. Avoid overcrowding so the tenders cook evenly.
  • Step 5: Bake Until Golden
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until thechicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The coatingshould be golden brown and crispy. For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2minutes at the end, watching carefully to prevent burning

Notes

  • Crush the Ritz crackers finely for a more even, crisp coating.
  • You can substitute panko breadcrumbs for a lighter texture.
  • Add a pinch of paprika or cayenne pepper for extra flavor and color.
  • Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet — it helps the tenders crisp up properly.
  • For easy cleanup, use parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • These tenders pair perfectly with Ranch, honey mustard, or spicy mayo.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
