For the Chicken
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt & black pepper
- Olive oil or cooking spray for frying or air frying
For the Caesar Dressing
- ½ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: For authentic flavor add ½ teaspoon anchovy paste or use a substitute like soy sauce.
For Assembly
- 2 –4 sandwich buns or brioche rolls
- 1 cup romaine lettuce chopped
- Shaved parmesan or mozzarella
- Extra Caesar dressing for drizzling
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

In three shallow bowls:
Flour
Beaten eggs
Panko breadcrumbs mixed with parmesan
Dip each chicken piece in flour → egg → breadcrumb mixture, pressing crumbs firmly for an even coating.
Step 3: Cook Until Crispy
Option 1 – Pan Fry:
Heat 2–3 tablespoons of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (internal temp: 165°F / 74°C).
Option 2 – Air Fryer:
Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray chicken with oil and air fry for 12–14 minutes, flipping halfway through.
