  • Potatoes 6–8 medium sliced thin
  • Smoked sausage 1 lb sliced
  • Green beans 1 lb trimmed
  • Onion 1 large sliced
  • Cajun seasoning 2–3 tbsp
  • Butter ½ cup
  • Chicken broth 2 cups
  • Garlic powder 1 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare Ingredients
  • Wash and slice the potatoes.
  • Slice sausage and onion.
  • Trim green beans.
  • Step 2: Layer in Crock Pot
  • Grease the slow cooker.
  • Add potatoes, sausage, green beans, and onions in layers.
  • Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and dot with butter.
  • Pour chicken broth over the top.
  • Step 3: Cook
  • Slow Cooker: Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  • Stovetop/Dutch Oven: Simmer covered on low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  • Instant Pot: Cook on HIGH pressure for 10 minutes, then quick release.
  • Step 4: Serve & Enjoy
  • Stir gently to mix everything.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning.
  • Serve hot with bread, cornbread, or rice.

Notes

  • Add cheese for a creamy twist.
  • Spice it up with chili flakes or hot sauce.
