Ingredients

  • Main Components:
  • 1 pack of Brioche Slider Rolls
  • 12 slices of Deli Ham
  • 12 slices of Swiss Cheese
  • Mayonnaise
  • Mustard
  • For the Glaze:
  • 4 tablespoons Butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Poppy Seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven and slice the entire pack of brioche rolls horizontally to create a top and bottom slab.
  • Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish and spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and mustard over the cut side.
  • Layer the deli ham slices evenly over the bottom buns, followed by the slices of Swiss cheese.
  • Place the top half of the rolls back on and whisk together the melted butter, honey, and poppy seeds in a small bowl.
  • Brush the buttery glaze generously over the tops of the rolls, ensuring the mixture seeps into the crevices.
  • Bake until the cheese is completely melted and the brioche tops are golden brown.
  • Let the dish sit for a few minutes before slicing along the natural lines of the rolls to serve.

Notes

• Snug Fit: Using a baking dish that fits the rolls tightly helps keep the sides of the bread soft and fluffy during the baking process.
• Avoid Sogginess: If you prefer a sturdier sandwich, lightly toast the inner sides of the buns for a few minutes before adding the condiments.
• Cheese Swaps: Provolone or mild white cheddar make excellent alternatives if Swiss cheese is not available.
• Make-Ahead Tip: You can assemble the sandwiches early, but wait to apply the butter glaze until right before sliding them into the oven.
