Ingredients

  • 2- inch piece fresh ginger peeled and thinly sliced (adjust based on desired spiciness)
  • 2 cups water filtered or spring water recommended
  • 1 –2 teaspoons honey optional; can use maple syrup or stevia
  • 1 –2 slices fresh lemon optional; enhances freshness and flavor
  • 1 small cinnamon stick optional; adds warming spice

Instructions

Boil the Water – Pour 2 cups of water into a small saucepan and bring it to a gentle boil.

Add the Ginger and Cinnamon – Add the thinly sliced ginger and cinnamon stick to the boiling water.

Simmer for Flavor – Reduce the heat and let it simmer gently for 10–15 minutes. This allows the flavors to infuse deeply.

Strain the Tea – Carefully strain the liquid into a cup or teapot, removing ginger slices and cinnamon stick.

Add Optional Enhancements – Stir in honey and lemon slices, if desired, after removing from heat.

Serve and Savor – Sip slowly, enjoying the warming aroma and soothing flavors.
